The canning process begins with freshly landed live abalone. These are specially selected, purged and then canned according to international HACCP standards.

Our
standard sizes of canned abalone are:
| 425g cans (24 per carton) | : One whole and one half Abalone per can. |
| 850g cans (12 per carton) | : Between two and three whole Abalone per can. |
From the clean cold oceans of South Africa our abalone is landed with the care and respect deserved by a quality and prestige product. Our dive boats are equipped with systems designed to mimimise stress reaction
and maintain the best condition.
On delivery to our modern hygienic factory, the abalone are placed
in state-of-the-art tanks with fast running sea water.
